Week 52/52 – Had this idea in my head for the last month or two. So made a collage of the previous 51 weeks worth of images as a lightbulb with a final self-portrait using direct flash. Many thanks to Laura Barsi for suggesting I take up this project. Its been lots of fun and I will no doubt create a few more images from the ideas that never made the cut.

Week 49/52 – First night out with a new LED wand and used our nearby park with a lone tree as the focal point. Held the wand behind me for a few second to create a silhouette.

Week 46/52 – A trip into Chinatown this weekend gave me a few images but I liked the busy staff at this restaurant making dumplings with the glow of a refleclted Chinese lantern nearby.

Week 45/52 – A bit low on inspiration this week. The damp evening conditions meant I headed into the garden and brought this fellow in for a photoshoot!

Week 44/52 – Busy weekend spent in Lyme Regist for their fireworks, fired from The Cobb. An annual tradition the family all enjoy. This shot had 6 layers of fireworks shot separately.

Week 43/52 – Spent an enjoyable day at the Black Country Living Museum where store owners of different eras gave a flavour of life from that time. Here was Samuel telling us about the pawnbroker business from the 1870s.

Week 42/52 – My only chance to venture out this week is on a drizzly Saturday morning to local woods. Managed to capture these with my zoom lens after forgetting to bring my macro…

It now appears that eagle heights isn’t open either on Monday. Plus the fact that the forecast isn’t looking good we have decided to skip any outing for Monday.

Here’s hoping that the next event planning goes better than this.

PLEASE NOTE BWC IS NOT OPEN NEXT WEEK.

They open weekends and state school holidays which works for us in Croydon but presume their local area has October half term the following week as next week is not bookable. Im so sorry for this oversight . I still want to spend a day photographing so Im looking at alternatives and open to suggestions.
